OMG God is Amazing!

Wow. I am feeling really seen and known right now. I am moving forward with renting my spot, I will need to pay the first and last month rent. The first being due today, When I woke up this morning I only had one quarter of the amount for the first month. But the funniest thing happened after I hit the publish button for my post entitled, More Than I Bargained For. I received an email from someone who had seen some of the things I have listed on Craigslist. It was sort of an odd email because it said something like, "I really like all of your stuff, I have a truck and I have cash, when can I come and see your stuff, tell me everything you have". I was pretty skeptical because there are some nuts out there.

Well, we finally connected and she came over with her truck and her cash and she loaded up. She bought stuff that I didn't even have on Craigslist yet, stuff I was getting ready to paint but hadn't yet gotten to. I now have 3/4's of my rent for the first and last month. Smile.

I am still not sure if she was a person or an angel. Really, though, I am humbled at the timing, the provision and the intimacy of the Lord. The Lord used the story of Hagar and her son Ishmael many years ago, when I was going through a very difficult time. A person who didn't know me, my circumstances or my pain, spoke a prophetic word to me and told me everything that was going on in my life, and assured me that the Lord saw me. It was such a sweet and tender moment for me. Today ranks right up there. The sweetness and the tenderness of the Lord to each of us individually just blows me away. Moments like today sweep all the doubts out of my mind. Is there a God, Yes, there is! Does He know my name, Yes, He does! Does He see me, yes he does!

This is a short post today, because I have to go and sign the contract for my spot. But the lesson I learned this week is about taking a risk, following your heart, and trusting the Lord to guide the process. And if there is anything hindering that, He will show you...but the best part, the most surprisingly wonderful part, is that when we move out of the way...stop hiding, protecting, and fretting...He does some pretty cool stuff on our behalf!

I will leave you with this beautiful song, Thank You for Loving Me, a remake done by David Crowder. This one totally expresses my heart today. Terri
